Macon City Council meets at 6:30 p.m. at 106 W. Bourke St. The posted agenda includes an ordinance to combine water and wastewater systems, the de-icing salt bid award, a Missouri Blue Shield grant acceptance, surplus property, a fireworks code discussion, and October event permits.
Schools are on regular schedules after the Labor Day holiday.
The Macon County Health Department is open for regular business hours after closing Monday.
Wednesday, Sept. 9
Southbound U.S. 63 will have a lane restriction for shoulder work from Jackpot Street in Macon County to County Road 1690 in Randolph County from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., according to MoDOT's Northeast District notice. The same window repeats Thursday, Sept. 10.
The Macon County Commission meets Mondays and Thursdays when the courthouse is open. No new September minutes were posted on this pass.
