A Callao man in the Macon County Jail was charged Wednesday with being a fugitive from out of state after jail staff found an active Illinois warrant for him, according to court records.
Macon County Prosecuting Attorney Joshua Meisner filed the felony charge against Timothy Bricker on Nov. 4.
According to the probable cause statement by Macon County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Endre Jefferson, jail staff ran Bricker through the Missouri Uniform Law Enforcement System that day and found the warrant out of Calhoun County, Ill. The statement says Bricker has no bond on the Illinois warrant and was placed on a 24-hour hold pending a Missouri warrant.
The Illinois case charges Bricker with possession of methamphetamine, two counts of obstructing justice/destroying evidence, driving while revoked, resisting, fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, possession of a hypodermic syringe or needle, and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the complaint. Calhoun County issued the warrant Jan. 7, 2025, the complaint says.
Bricker pleaded guilty Nov. 26, 2025, in Macon County Circuit Court to felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia in a separate case. Judge Rick Tucker sentenced him to four years in the Missouri Department of Corrections on the first count and fined him $50 on the second, according to the sentencing memorandum. The plea and sentencing records do not name the charges.
The sentence sent Bricker to a 120-day institutional treatment program under Section 559.115. He was released on probation after completing it.
Meisner moved Sept. 8 to revoke that probation. The motion alleges Bricker tested positive for methamphetamine and alcohol Aug. 25, violating probation conditions that bar him from using controlled substances or alcohol.
Charges are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
