KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Truman State University beat Rockhurst 1-0 in men's soccer Wednesday at Bourke Field in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match.
Roman Scognamillo, of Truman State, scored at 64:15 from 20 yards on a breakaway.
Both teams took six shots. Rockhurst put four shots on goal to Truman State's one. Owen Robben, of Truman State, played all 90 minutes and made three saves for the shutout. Luke Strueby, of Rockhurst, played all 90 minutes and did not record a save. Rockhurst had five corner kicks to Truman State's three. Both teams were called for 15 fouls.
Yellow cards went to Drake Thompson, of Truman State, Daniele Ciancaglini, of Rockhurst, Cameron Ayoade, of Rockhurst, Fred Tate, of Rockhurst, Mattia Petricca, of Rockhurst, Frank Robinson, of Truman State, and Nolan Schulte, of Truman State.
