Thousand Hills State Park has installed a new ADA-accessible kayak launch, making it easier for visitors of all abilities to get on the water at Forest Lake.
The launch arrived just ahead of Missouri Free Fishing Weekend, June 6 and 7, when no fishing permit is required statewide. Whether casting a line, putting in a kayak, or simply enjoying the lake, it is a good weekend to head outside.
